How to fix a floor lamp (disassemble & change fuse)

As we know by now I believe most things can be easily & cheaply fixed rather than thrown away
This was a very easy fix which took 10 minutes and cost less than £2.
After a power cut the lamp stopped working. Having tried changing the bulbs and the plug fuse the last thing to try was disassembling it. I found a fuse within the electric circuit behind the switches. Changing this fixed the lamp.
I ordered this pack of 5 x ceramic slow blow fuses from ebay for £2.55:
